To create leave types:
- Go to Settings > Attendance Settings > Leave Type tab.
- You can see the Leave Type Lists, if you want changes, click the three dots of each list to Edit or Remove. Switch toggles to make a leave type Payable or Convertible to Cash.
- To add a Leave Type, click the (+) Add button.
- Click the (+) Add button and start filling in the form fields such as
- Leave Category
- Leave Code
- Parent Leave (optional)
- Leave Type Name
◾ Toggle Paid Leave Options Definitions
These explain the toggle functions and it can be optional, based on the employer's policy and preferences.
- Allow Hourly – employee can use this leave to file an hourly leave.
- Request Only – allow leave applied to requests only.
- Allow Negative Leave Credits – this leave can still be used even if the remaining count is less than 0.
- Considered as Paid – if the employee used this leave to cover his absence, the work hours for that day will be his schedule, else, his Net hours is 0.
- Convertible to Cash – identifies that a certain leave can be converted to cash if it is not used.
- Include Non-Working Day – set leave also applied to Non-Working Day (this is not commonly used).
- Is Attachment Mandatory – requires an employee to attach proof like a supporting document of his/her absence (especially with Sick Leaves) (this is not commonly used).
- Out of Office Request – allow leave applied to Out of Office Request only.
- Display Budget/Allowance Table - set leave that shows budget/allowance table in a request.

In the left side, another field is provided to have more detailed information of leave type.

After filling-in the fields, click the Save Changes button.
