<aside> 💡 Auto-generated leaves can only be applied for Annual Leave Category. Annual leave is paid time off work granted by employers to employees to be used for whatever the employee wishes. The entitlement is 21 consecutive days annual leave on full remuneration, in respect of each annual leave cycle, and if an employee works a five-day week then this is equal to 15 working days, or if the employee works a six-day week then it is equal to 18 working days.

To create an auto-generated leave,

  1. Go to Settings > Attendance Settings > Leave Type tab.
  2. Click the (+) Add button.
  3. Select the Annual Leave in the Leave Category field.
  4. Leave the Parent Leave blank.
  5. Enter Leave Code and Leave Type Name.
  6. Switch toggle to Allow Hourly (Allow an hourly leave request per period or duration)
  7. Set the first Auto Generated Leave count set in a specified period.
  8. You can also set a second Auto Generated Leave count set in a specified period.

  1. Select what Shift Type Codes, Job Types, Job Classification, and Job Family where the auto generated leave is applicable.

  2. Set days for yearly working days and days not allowed for absenteeism.

  3. Set period allowed (optional).

  4. Remarks (optional).

  5. Click Save Changes.

For additional settings of auto generated leave, click the three-dot box located next to the annual leave category type. Click Settings.

You will see the Leave Type, Type, and Status of the annual leave type. Also the # of leave alloted. And the condition to avail the leave.

Click the Update Settings if you want to change the # period, required attendance, status, type, and yearly allocation configuration.
