Adding an item

1. Select an item type.

Corresponding fields will display depending on what type of item is chosen.

Trigger toggles:

• Serial Item toggle

  When switching the Serial Item toggle on, the Serial No(s) tab will appear to be added on other tabs.

• Taxable toggle (only visible when in Branch mode)

  When switching the Taxable toggle on, the Tax Code field ****will appear to be added to the item’s information.

Standard Item

When selecting a Standard item type, this initial form will display:

After saving the initial information, a new page will appear with the additional information to be filled. The standard Item type is consists of the following tabs:

a. Header b. Stock c. Pricing d. Images e. Vendors f. Serial No(s) - only showing if the 'Serial Item' toggle is switched on under the Header tab. g. Inventory Logs h. QC List - only showing if Transaction Type is Rental Service i. Tag Along j. SO History

The standard item has one SKU with its own inventory.

Standard item is applicable to have multiple Serial Items. The user can add a specific Tax Code for the new standard item. (Can only be edited if in Branch mode)

Standard item is applicable to any 4 Transaction Types: For Sale, Rental Service, Fixed Asset, or Internal Use.
